Elizabeth Diggins

I am a self taught professional artist and tutor, living in Eastleigh, Hampshire, UK and I love working with all types of media including clay, graphite pencil and stained glass.

My inspiration comes mainly from the natural world, where my love of depicting detail is be explored. Shells, birds and animals appear in many of my graphite pencil drawings, and natural forms, such as leaves, form an integral part of my current ceramic work.

Breaking news! I have just been awarded the Loveday Trophy for my artwork "Jar of Shells" at the Best of Hampshire Artists Exhibition, Hillier Gardens, Romsey SO51 0QA (show runs until October 3rd 2010) This award is given for the best in show, I'm thrilled!
